Peg-Adrim

Pegylated Liposomal Doxorubicin

Features

Liposomal doxorubicin is encapsulated in long-circulating stealth that prevent detection of liposomes by mononuclear phagocyte system and increase blood circulation time. Exact action is unclear, but liposomes are thought to persist in circulation, penetrating often compromised tumor vasculature and ultimately inhibiting mitotic activity and nucleic acid synthesis.
