10 ml USP Type I glass vial with a rubber stopper and aluminium cap, packed in
a single monocarton along with pack insert.
Up to 60kg: 50,000 units/kg/day to a maximum of 75,000 units/kg/day. The total daily dose should be divided into three doses given at approximately 8-hour intervals.
Over 60kg: 1-2 million units three times a day. The maximum dose is 6 million units in 24 hours.
KABIMETHATETM is indicated in adults and children including neonates for the
treatment of serious infections due to selected aerobic Gram-negative
pathogens in patients with limited treatment options .Consideration should
be given to official guidance on the appropriate use of antibacterial agents.
