The newest addition to our portfolio of parenteral nutrition (PN) products, Addnutriv is used as a single-use additive to PN and is composed of trace elements that aid in the metabolism of macronutrients.
Addnutriv is indicated for adults as part of intravenous solutions for parenteral nutrition by preventing depletion of endogenous stores of chromium, copper, iodide, iron, fluoride, manganese, molybdenum, selenium, and zinc and preventing the development of subsequent deficiency symptoms.
Addnutriv is available in 10 mL ampoules as a daily dosage for adult patients with basal to moderately increased requirements.
Addnutriv is contraindicated in patients who are hypersensitive to this product or to any ingredient in the formulation, including any non-medicinal ingredient, or component of the container. It is also contraindicated in patients with conditions with total biliary obstruction, Wilson’s disease and hemochromatosis.
