ESICM - Fresenius Kabi Clinical Nutrition Award
Applications are now open for the ESICM - Fresenius Kabi Clinical Nutrition Award, which provides a grant of €20,000 to a meaningful nutrition research project. This is the only award in the ESICM environment with a focus on nutrition. Applications will be made in a 2-step process, with a deadline for initial applications (short details) of April 4, 2024. In April the committee will then ask the suitable ones to provide a full application (deadline June 16, 2024).

Fellowships accompanied with the ESICM eCourse on Nutrition in Critical Illness
Fresenius Kabi proudly supports 10 fellowships accompanied with the ESICM eCourse on Nutrition in Critical Illness, taking place on April 24-25. The fellowships will be conducted in centers around Europe, giving fellows the opportunity to experience real-life critical care nutrition scenarios, learning directly from experts in the field.
The top 10 course performers will be awarded the fellowships by Fresenius Kabi, including a travel grant to cover fellowship-related costs (accommodation and travel) up to €1,000 per fellow.
This virtual course by ESICM provides an introductory overview into nutrition research, nutritional assessment and therapy in intensive care. It is specifically designed for intensive care doctors, nurses and allied healthcare professionals like physiotherapists or dietitians.
