Celebrating 25 Years of Fresenius Kabi in the UK

This year marked a significant milestone: 25 years of Fresenius Kabi in the UK. Over the past quarter of a century, we’ve built a legacy rooted in compassion, expertise, and quality, delivering trusted homecare solutions that make a real difference in patients’ lives. From pioneering nutritional therapies to supporting healthcare professionals, our commitment has always been to improve outcomes and empower choice. This anniversary is not just a celebration of time—it’s a celebration of the countless patients, families, and clinicians who have been part of our story.

50 Years of Fresubin® – Nourishing What Matters Most

We also celebrated 50 years of Fresubin®, a brand that has transformed nutritional care for half a century. Fresubin® has provided nutritional support intended for real-life patient needs. Backed by over 100 years of healthcare expertise from Fresenius Kabi, our mission remains clear: to nourish what matters most. As we look ahead, we continue to grow a future where nutrition empowers recovery, resilience, and joy.

Advancing Education and Collaboration

Education is at the heart of progress. This year, we proudly supported healthcare professionals through a range of educational initiatives. At BAPEN, we engaged in interactive stand activities, shared expert insights, and hosted a sponsored satellite symposium on Multimodal Prehabilitation in the Oncology Patient. From the Parenteral Nutrition Study Day to pharmacy workshops and our Connect Programme, we’ve worked to foster meaningful conversations and share knowledge that drives better patient care.

Innovation for Patient Choice

Patient choice matters. That’s why we launched Fresubin® PLANT-BASED Drink, an oral nutritional supplement designed to support lifestyle preferences and improve compliance. This innovation reflects our commitment to making nutrition accessible, inclusive, and tailored to individual needs.

Putting Patients First

Patient satisfaction remains at the heart of everything we do. We’re proud that 96% of patients would recommend the Fresenius Kabi Enteral Nutrition Homecare Service to friends or family. Every step of the patient journey deserves care and attention, and we strive to create a safe, supportive space for patients and their loved ones.

Giving Back to Our Community

This year, we were delighted to support Halton Haven Hospice, our chosen charity and have raised £1,063. Teams across the company came together to raise funds and awareness through initiatives like Secondhand September, charity raffles, and other fundraising activities. It’s an honour to contribute to such a meaningful cause. We also enjoyed coming together for the community litter picking event, helping to create cleaner, greener spaces for everyone, and look forward to continuing our support for both the local and wide community and strengthening our commitment to sustainability.
