The Freka® PEG is designed to have a life span of several months. If the tube is well cared for it should last for 2 years.
 

  • Polyurethane tube with radio-opaque strip
  • Radio-opaque retention disc made from silicone
  • Puncture cannula with safety (air) valve
  • Introducer cone with double thread
  • Safety scalpel
  • External colour and size coded fixation plate (silicone) for securing tube
  • ENFit connector
  • Interval markings every 2cm (from 2cm - 16cm)
  • Tube clamp
     

  • Long-term intragastric feeding in patients with inadequate oral nutritional intake
  • Palliative gastric decompression / drainage by gravity
