Revision of nutrition information on Enteral Nutrition products in line with new EU regulation on Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMPs)

Following the updated EU regulation for Food for Special Medical Purposes (FSMPs), the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/128, Fresenius Kabi enteral nutrition products will need to undergo certain changes on their labels before 22nd February 2019. We have been working hard to ensure all labels are updated in time and are compliant with the new regulation by the deadline.

We estimate that all products will be in the market by October 2019; this will vary depending on current stock levels and production rates.

You may notice some other minor changes to the details on our product labels. We have done our best to limit these changes to minimise any impact on you or your patients and in most cases you will not even notice the changes.

In some cases, we have taken the opportunity to make some more noticeable changes to our products and we will endeavour to communicate these changes to you over the coming weeks.

We will be updating ourproduct literature and website information shortly to reflect these changes.
