One hour online lunch time training programme

We provide training for nursing home staff members on an ongoing basis and we support a hollistic approach to the way the Nursing Homes provide care on a daily basis. 

Training programmes are led by internal and external nursing home consultants. This is offered through a blend of in-house and virtual online training. 

While our main nursing home training programme has now concluded, we continue to offer one‑hour online training sessions throughout the year. These sessions focus on key topics relevant to nursing home staff and are designed to be practical and informative.

Fresenius Kabi – Dysphagia Care Training for Nursing Staff

Fresenius Kabi Ireland in partnership with Dysphagia Care are offering online dysphagia training for nursing home staff members. The training covers a variety of topics including an introduction to the International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) framework.

Please note that a service level agreement needs to be in place in order for access to this training. For more information, please contact FK-Enquiries.Ireland@fresenius-kabi.com. Studies suggest that between 50% and 75% of nursing home residents have some difficulty swallowing1 and furthermore, that 55% of older people with dysphagia are at risk of malnutrition2.
