NutriKabina：讓智慧營養篩檢更貼近患者

For many cancer patients, the journey begins with uncertainty – and nutrition isn’t always top of mind. Yet malnutrition is a major risk factor, affecting up to 80% of oncology patients in Argentina. Often unnoticed, it can lead to longer hospital stays, higher complication rates, and poorer outcomes.

That’s where NutriKabina comes in: a new telehealth-based solution developed by the Nutrihome team at Fresenius Kabi Argentina. The goal: to make nutrition screening faster, easier, and more accessible right where patients are.

A smarter approach to screening

NutriKabina is a compact unit equipped with digital diagnostic tools like laser sensors, a scale, a bioimpedance meter, and more. Installed in hospital lobbies, it’s designed for oncology patients referred by their physicians for nutritional screening.

Once inside, patients are guided through the process by a remotely connected doctor. After the screening, both patient and physician receive a full nutritional report. Based on the results, physicians can recommend appropriate nutritional support, ranging from counseling to clinical nutrition therapies at home.
