Fresenius Kabi South Africa (FKSA) COVID-19 Communication

24 June 2020

Following the declaration of COVID-19 as a national disaster by President Ramaphosa and the lockdown of South Africa effective 24h00 Thursday 26 March 2020, please note the following:

The FKSA Crisis Management Response Team, led by CEO Mikko Tiitinen, meet 2-3 times per week to assess and monitor current updates on COVID-19 and the impact on our employees and product supply to critically ill patients. Our key objectives are to not only safeguard our employees, suppliers and patients; but also, to ensure that we put the correct measures in place to continue service delivery.

FKSA has ceased all face to face communication with healthcare professionals and will maintain contact through e-communication channels where required. FKSA Business Operations (namely production and supply of products and services) are an essential service and will continue as normal throughout, and with probable increase in demand.

“Caring for Life” is the core value of FKSA, and we remain committed to delivering our products and services when called upon as a National Healthcare Provider.

Stay at home, stay healthy, stay safe.
