Infusion Disposables
Fresenius Kabi can provide both dedicated infusion sets for our infusions systems and also a range of general IV disposables suitable for a range of clinical applications.
Our pump-dedicated IV and infusion disposables offer the following features:
- Needle-free ports
- A range of filters
- Rotating luer connections
- Automatic flow stop
The safety clip automatically clamps the line during abnormal operation or upon removal from the pump to avoid any risk of free-flow when the door is opened and when the set is removed.
- DEHP – free
All Volumat Lines are free from phthalates (DEHP) in order to limit patient exposure to the components of the plastic materials. There is no risk of DEHP migration into the vascular system of the patient during the IV treatment.
- Latex – free
All lines are free from latex in order to limit patient exposure to the components of the plastic materials. There is no risk of latex migration into the vascular system of the patient during the IV treatment.
- PVC free
All lines are free from PVC for use in Oncology
- Flow rate range
The design of the silicone segment of some of our lines enables flow rates from 0.1ml/h up to 1500 ml/h.
- Colour-coded pump insertion
The set connectors have the same colour and shape as the dedicated slots in the pumps for installation of the set.
