Indications

Volulyte® is indicated for treatmen​​t of hypovolemia due to acute blood loss when crystalloids alone are not considered sufficient.

Hypovolemia

Hypovolemia is associated with disturbances in the macro- and microcirculation.

  • Macro- and microcirculatory disturbances give rise to diminished organ blood flow and decreased oxygen supply to various organs, and finally to functional organ failure.
