Thick & Easy™ Clear

Thick & Easy™ Clear is a white powder consisting of maltodrextrin, xanthan gum, carrageenan, and erythritol.

Directions for Use

Thick & Easy™ Clear can be added to all hot and cold liquids, food and nutritional supplements to develop a thicker consistency and prevent aspiration. It provides total clarity in water or other liquids and maintains its stability overtime.

  1. Using the scoop in the tin
  2. Add recommended of level scoops of powder into an empty dry glass/cup
  3. Add desired liquid to the glass, stir briskly with a whisk or fork until dissolved
  4. Leave to stand for a few minutes

Keep liquid refrigerated until ready to use. 

Freezing: Thick & Easy™ Clear is freeze-thaw stable and can be stored for as long as the food or liquid that is thickened can be preserved.

Shelf Life

Thick & Easy™ Clear has a shelf life of 3 years from the date of manufacture.

Once opened the tin should be resealed with the plastic lid provided and kept in a cool, dry location (room temperature) and in a relatively odour free environment.

Shelf life once opened is 2 years if stored in the appropriate conditions.



Thick & Easy™ Clear is designed to easily thicken food and fluids for patients who have difficulty swallowing (dysphagia). 


For enteral use only 

Not suitable for infants under three years of age


Should only be used under medical supervision

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition
