Shortage of Fludarabine Phosphate Injection and Replacement with US Labelled Stock Availability Notice

Dear Valued Customer,
To help mitigate the impact of the ongoing shortage of Fludarabine Phosphate Injection in Canada, Health Canada has facilitated the one-time importation and release of 1,000 units of Fresenius Kabi United States (US) labelled Fludarabine Phosphate Injection. Fludarabine Phosphate is available in 25 mg/mL 2 mL SD Vials and is bar-coded, latex free, and preservative free. The product monograph will be available on the Fresenius Kabi Canada website at www.fresenius-kabi.com/en-ca/.
The product will be placed on allocation. Customers will receive a one-time allocation based on historical data provided to us.
Stock will begin to arrive at facilities effective today, October 21, 2019, however stock will arrive at all distribution centres effective October 23, 2019.
