Fresenius Kabi continues to expand its operations in Graz, Austria

Following the company’s philosophy of caring for life, Fresenius Kabi continuously invests in the capacities and high level of modernity of its facilities around the globe in order to help care for critically and chronically ill patients. Fresenius Kabi now invests further in its two facilities in Graz, Austria. 

The investment project of more than €60 million is a clear commitment of the company to the region and scheduled for completion in 2023. It will expand the manufacturing and packaging capacities of its two sites in the Austrian city, Graz Puntigam, and its logistics center in Graz Werndorf. A focus lies on the production and distribution of medicines in glass bottles and prefilled syringes, a strongly growing segment with clear advantages for healthcare professionals in terms of usability and safety.

In Austria, the company’s around 1,500 employees produce lifesaving medicines for patients around the globe. Every day, more than 400,000 products are manufactured in Graz and delivered to healthcare institutions worldwide.
