Indications
For critically ill patients with or at risk of SIRS** or sepsis and with:
- Severe or multiple trauma
- Major abdominal surgery
- Malnourishment
- Serious burns
- Acute severe pancreatitis
** SIRS = systemic inflammatory response syndrome
