Patients Info

If body fluids are lacking, they will be restored with basic solutions, which means defined combinations and concentrations of water and electrolytes (e.g. sodium chloride solutions) or carbohydrates (glucose).

Basic solutions correct the balance of water, electrolytes and acid-base-status in particular in the tissues.

Furthermore, Basic solutions are:

 

  • used as a carrier for several active agents (e.g. i.v. antibiotics) 
  • part of a sufficient parenteral nutrition therapy.

Remember: 50-60% of our total body weight is water and electrolytes.

  • doctors and pharmacists: a copy of your approbation, bar registration or a copy of your business card together with a copy of an invoice.
  • medical students: a copy of your students card
  • other medical professionals and employees in the pharmaceutical industry: a letter of confirmation from your employer that on account of your occupation you have access to information on prescriptive drugs
As soon as we have received your identification format we will provide you with the required password.
